Greenhouse · business overview

What Greenhouse adds on top of Coolify

Coolify is a very capable engine for running apps on a server, but it is built for the people who administer servers. Greenhouse sits in front of it so that every employee can publish a working internal app with one command, while IT keeps control of access, security and cost. Nobody except platform admins ever opens Coolify.

Anyone can shipNo repo setup, no Dockerfile, no server knowledge. One deploy command.
Everyone stays in their laneEach app has its own owner, its own network and its own database. Other people cannot see it or touch it.
IT stays in controlCompany login in front of apps, an audit trail, and automatic access removal when someone leaves.
Same result, two paths

Publishing one internal tool

Take a colleague who wrote a small web app on their laptop. This is what it takes to put it online for the company. Coolify can do every task on the left, but each one needs someone who knows how.

What is different, row by row

Coolify stays the engine. These are the gaps Greenhouse closes for a company that wants many non-specialists to publish apps safely.

Who benefits

What changes for each role

Ownership instead of team roles

Other people cannot even tell an app exists

Coolify only knows roles per team: a member sees everything and cannot deploy, an admin can edit and delete everyone's apps. Greenhouse tracks the owner and collaborators of each app. Pick a person and see what happens when they ask for the "crm" app's logs.

Leavers

When someone leaves, access goes away on its own

Greenhouse checks every active user against the company directory on a schedule. In Coolify alone, removing a person from every place they were added is a manual checklist.

Honest boundaries

What Greenhouse does not change

Coolify is still the engineGreenhouse does not replace it. It holds the only key to Coolify and talks to it on the users' behalf. Admins still use Coolify for the proxy, certificates and server health.
Three kinds of appNode.js, Python and static sites, with any framework. Other stacks are not supported. Users never bring their own Dockerfile.
One company loginLogin and leaver checks rely on Microsoft Entra ID. Visibility is either public or "anyone from the company"; there are no per-app viewer lists.
One serverThe design targets a single Coolify server. Running apps across several servers is not covered.
